WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE "RIDGERUNNER'S"!!!!!!!!!
The Ridge Runner ATV Club was formed for the following purposes:
1.To promote a positive image for All Terrain Vehicles.

2.To promote safety and safe use of ATV's.

3.To develop ride areas on both public and private lands.

4.To promote a variety of activities for both families and individuals to enjoy the use of ATV's.






This Web site is dedicated to the ATV lifestyle. Ridgerunner ATV Club is a group of dedicated people that love the sport of ATVing. This site will have our club news as well as ATV news in general. Our club is based in Southern Missouri around a small town known as Willow Springs MO. We have memebers from several communities abroad and we welcome newcomers to come and join in our love of the sport.



HOW TO JOIN THE RIDGE-RUNNER ATV CLUB
If you are interested in joining there are a few things you can do. First you can leave a message on our message board and a member will get in touch through email. Second, you can send a self addressed stamped envelope with a small note expressing interest in our club and we will send you an application. Third, you can go to one of our events that will be listed on the homepage as they are scheduled and join there. We do charge $20.00 per person and $30.00 per family per year and this money is used for expenses for when our representatives go to Jefferson City to talk to our officials that are in office.

PAUL ROY MEMORIAL RIDE 2006
The RIDGERUNNER ATV CLUB would like to say thanks for everyone who came out and honored Paul Roy. The day could not have been better to honor Paul. We do apologize for the short notice of the ride but, we hope to fix this problem soon.

RIDGERUNNER UPCOMING EVENTS!!!!!!!!
WOW! Another year is quickly coming to an end and the Ridge-Runners have been trying to get some things going. We have been dorment lately due to the hot, dry temps. and the gas prices have really been taking a toll. But, There is possible help in the future. Check it out below.
Ridge-Runners Travel To St. Joe
On November 5th, some of the Ridge-Runners traveled to the St. Joe State Park in Park Hills MO for a day ride. David Blythe, Brock Kenega and Tracey Clark were in attendance and were joined by Charles McKenzie of the Ozark Trails ATV Club out of Springfield MO. These folks are working on an idea to get grant money for off road use.By uniting all off road clubs under one association, they will have the power needed to apply for this grant money. They are planning a meeting sometime in January where representatives from each club will be elected. We are planning to help them in any way possible to make this plan work. We will pass on info. about this as it delevops.

Riding ATV's in the South!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
KENTUCK ORV AREA,ALABAMA

The Kentuck ORV Area in the Talledega Nat. Forest in Northeastern Alabama is about ten miles south of Oxford. Under the care of the Cheaha Trail Riders, it has grown to become the centerpiece of Alabamas OHV trail system. The Kentuck system now has 23 miles of some of the best riding in the USA. The terrain is densly forested and the trail dips through streams and climbs the ridges of Kentuck mountain. MILL CREEK TRAIL SYSTEM, ARKANSAS

Riders of all skill levels will enjoy the Ozark Nat. Forest Mill Creek Trail System near Fayetteville in northwest Arkansas. With 27 miles of main trails and 15 miles of interior loops and shortcuts, the trails feature mountain streams, hardwood forest, scenic rock formations and spectacular views. Mile markers are posted on the main trail. The trailhead parking area has a loading ramp, info board and a vault toilet. REDBIRD CREST TRAIL,KENTUCKY

Experienced riders will enjoy the challenge of Kentucky's Redbird Crest Trail in Big Creek, 20 miles east of London. The 64 mile loop is part of Daniel Boone National Forest and begins and ends near the Redbird District Office. Because the trail loop generally follows the ridge tops some portions are quite steep and rough. Riders are cautioned to stay on the trails only. GREAT PLACES TO RIDE IN MISSOURI!!!!!!!!!!!!

ST.JOE STATE PARK
St.Joe State Park is located in the heart of the old lead belt of southeast Mo where much of the nations lead ore was extracted for more than a century. In 1972, the St.Joe Mineral Corp. ceased operations and subsequently donated the land to the state in 1976.
Today the 8238 acre state park is MO third largest state park, with 2000 acres set aside for the states premier off road riding area.
The park also features two campgrounds capable of accomadating campers with orvs or horses, a hiking trail and picnic sites and lakes for swimming and fishing. Visitors can explore several thousand acres of woodlands or spend their day relaxing in the great outdoors.


SUTTON'S BLUFF RECREATION AREA

From Centerville MO take hwy 21 north 3 miles to Forest Service sign at forest road 2233, turn there and go 7 miles, then turn on forest road 2236. The campground is another 3 miles further. With over 20 miles of trails this area attracts many riders.


CHADWICK ATV/MOTORCYCLE AREA

From Chadwick,MO take hwy 125 south 1.5 miles to hwy H, turn west to Camp Ridge Rec Area or continue to forest road 171 to Cobb Ridge Rec Area. Offering 125 miles of trails winding in and out of deep forested hollows and down long ridge tops,Chadwick attracts riders from miles away.


FINGER LAKES STATE PARK, COLUMBIA MO

The park has over 70 miles of trails. The park is set up as an open riding area. There are few areas that are off limits to riding. There is one main trail that runs north and south in the western section of the park and is marked with green arrows and orange post. They also have a full motorcross track. This is definately a great place to spend the day or weekend riding.

THIS WAS NEW YEARS DAY 2006 RIDGERUNNER STYLE!!!!!!!!!
As usual the Ridgerunners had a great New Years Day Ride.  Their were 30 quads that turned out to make this a great day.  The temperature was in the 50's so you just couldnt have ask for a better day to ride.  We would like to thank everyone for coming out and having a good time.
